Research Internship
Bellamy Loft is a modern event and wedding venue in North York, Toronto. Our space blends an industrial look with greenery and floral elements to create a bright, open setting. We host micro weddings, civil ceremonies, social events, and creative projects. With support from our in-house planners and sister companies, we offer curated packages and hands-on help for every event. As we grow, we’re focused on refining our services, improving internal systems, and staying up to date with industry trends and client needs.

The Role
We’re looking for a Research Intern to support our team with content, planning, and growth-related projects. Tasks may range from market and competitor research to writing blog posts and helping with content planning. This role is best suited for someone who’s organized, dependable, and has an interest in the event space.
Responsibilities
Your tasks may vary depending on your availability and the company’s current needs. You may be assigned to focused projects or rotate through various assignments across our in-house brands, sister companies, or client work. Projects may shift every few weeks based on priority.
- Research venue and event trends, design ideas, and client preferences
- Support growth research: new services, pricing strategies, and competitor comparisons
- Assist with sourcing vendors, product options, and photoshoot materials
- Write and edit blog posts, client guides, and planning materials
- Help with SEO research and content outlines
- Monitor social media platforms for useful ideas and visual trends
- Build lists of potential vendors, launch ideas, or industry stats
- Assist with internal admin tasks, documents, and creative drafts
You’re a Fit If You:
- Are good at research and clear communication
- Can manage your time and work on different tasks
- Pay attention to detail and follow through on assignments
- Have an interest in events, venues, planning, or writing
Bonus if you:
- Have writing or research samples
- Use Google Drive, Notion, Canva, or Airtable
- Have a basic understanding of SEO or marketing terms
- Are located in Toronto and available to help in person (optional)
